A window on Piazza Maggiore, the Art Orologio Hotel is housed in a traditional building that is one of the oldest in Verona. The lobby is small, but simply decorated in light cream and beige tones with a marble floor, lending it an airy, unfussy atmosphere. Here there is a bar, fax and office facilities, as well as a work station where guests can use the Internet, word process and send e-mails. It’s also possible to rent bikes at the reception desk. Though they differ slightly in size and are individually decorated, the 29 guestrooms are of a high standard and fully equipped with a good range of comforts. All are clean and well maintained, as are the marble en suite bathrooms. The hotel also offers a Continental style buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room.
